For whom?

This workshop is for adults and teenager who are interested in archery, woodworking and spending time in nature!

In this course you will craft your own bow out of a piece of wood. You spend a weekend on our land, sleeping in a tent and learn about bow building and archery. Age limit 12+.

What wood is good for bows
Crafting your own bow (hickory or manau)
Crafting your string
Crafting of arrows
Basic knowledge about archery
Shooting with your own bow

Prices:

Adults € 275.-
Teens (12y – 18y) € 225.-

We also have the opportunity to rent a belltent for up to 5 persons. Includes tent, bed with matress.
€50.- per tent/night.

What you need

Tent
sleeping bag, sleeping mat with a temperature class suitable for the time of year
your own dishes (plate, cutlery, cup, waterbottle)
shoes and clothes for the outdoors
swimming clothes
sun protection (hat, suncream), rain gear
torch, lamp
knife with fixed blade (you can buy one at the course (€25.-)
fishing gear (not obligatory) but we are next to a lake
natural soap to shower, towel
Water bottle

Good to know
The language spoken will be english.
We will cook in our outdoor-kitchen.
We have four compost-toilets and three showers.
Electricity is in the outdoorkitchen (to charge cellphones, etc.).
We have a filtering system for drinking water, but bring a full bottle to start with. If possible no plastic bottles!

We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner (vegetarian). Fruits will be provided throughout the whole day. Feel free to bring your own food to grill on the campfire.
